Coghlan's Combination Map & Lensatic Compass with Case – Model 0088 | Outdoor Navigation Compass

Master Every Route: Coghlan's Combination Map & Lensatic Compass

Never settle for less than perfect precision in the great outdoors. The Coghlan's Combination Compass merges the best of a detailed map compass and a high-accuracy lensatic compass into one reliable tool — perfect for hiking, backpacking, survival kits, and land navigation courses.

Why Everyone's Buying This

Land navigation usually means switching between a map tool for route planning and a separate compass for precise bearings. This compass does both. Unfolded, its see-through base works as a map-reading tool with five built-in map scales for measuring distance on topographic maps. Folded, it works as a lensatic compass — look through the lens and sighting wire to line up your target for a direct, accurate bearing. One tool, two jobs.

Built for Reliable, Accurate Navigation

The liquid-filled housing dampens the needle for a fast, stable reading even on the move. The scaled magnetic dial and bezel ring make fine adjustments easy, and the see-through design lets you view your map right through the compass — no need to keep lifting it to check your position.

Durable, Compact, and Ready to Travel

Lightweight and handheld, this compass comes with a custom nylon case with a secure hook-and-loop closure to protect it from scratches and knocks, plus a loop for attaching to your belt, backpack, or gear. Instructions are included, so it's ready to use whether you're a beginner or an experienced navigator.
